Exports

A major strategy of our company is the geographic diversification through exports to Eastern Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Israel, Lebanon and others.

Our capacity in engaging in exports is enhanced by:
Our high production rate of 1,300 tons per hour.
Our proximity to the industrial port facilities in Cyprus. (20 km from our own export port facilities at Vassiliko bay).

The high quality of our rock which is ideal for specialized purposes, such as:
(a) Railway ballast (having high specific gravity of about 2.8 and low Los Angeles below 16).

(b) Surface treatment for roads, airfields etc. (having high PSV in excess of 56, a measure of resistance to skidding of vehicle tyres enabling the construction of safer roads).

As a result, we have been exporting for more than 10 years railway ballast to Greece and we have been licensed to engage into exports of all aggregates to Israel.
